  • Gain a new direction in life
  • Give something back to the community
  • Feel needed and appreciated

  • be physically fit enough to perform the duties allocated
  • have or be able to obtain a Working With Children Card (if over 15 yo)

VOLUNTEER ROLES

There are multiple roles for volunteers at RDA. If you'd like to work with horses and you can help 2-4 hours each week or fortnight on a weekday or on a Saturday then please contact us. Volunteers working with horses undergo Stage 1 Induction Training and Stage 2 Basic Training. After significant time as a volunteer there can be progression to Stage 3 Competency Training.

If you prefer other roles then volunteers can help with fundraising, events, gardening, administration, photography and more. Volunteers not working with horses undergo Stage 1 Induction Training.

If you'd like to join our volunteer team then contact us today for more information.
